360 mm depth metal frame

Post by jon buck »

On the hunt for a 360 mm depth metal frame finished in a shiny silver, they are for 350 mm depth canvases (20) very large.
Arqadia are showing one but hardly any stock.
Any advice please .

All the best

Looks like the customer will have to waite till December . Thats when the Arqadia moulding is coming in to stock.
Shame but there does not appear to be an alternative . Lets hope he will hang on as its a cracking order.

Thanks for responses

Profile 35 has a 1 3/4" deep space. What's that in metric....... errr.... well over 36mm I think. Silver and Black.

Try Rose&Hollis for chops.

That's Nielsen USA - hence the imperial measurements. Nielsen UK don't do that profile http://www.nielsenonline.co.uk/pages/page/026-027.html not sure how up-to-date the UK website is - it's being re-done. (Needs to be - see if you can see any of the rebate sizes there)! I checked the current catalogue (hard copy) and there's nothing close..... unless I missed it!

What's wrong with a wooden frame that looks like metal anyway? At least then you could drop it in and secure it in the normal way instead of having to slide it in.

oooops. My bad.

If push come to shove you could maybe have some chops shipped from the US. 20 frames. Might be worth it.

If I remember correctly, I think that Lion have (or did have) quite a deep aluminium moulding in their moulding catalogue.
