Well I'm going to the Art & Framing Convention UK 2014 don't you know. You all know about that, right?

OK - just in case - it's a FATG event, our biggest of the year, every year, so, naturally, we want it prominent on our website? -

Go for it! http://www.fineart.co.uk/

Wharraya mean "I can't see it" - For heavens sake, just click on "events" and on the page that produces, click on "Awards and convention" DUH!!!

When you finally get there you'll see what it's all about ..... NOT! It's just the gist, but trust us, it's really good, we have sent our members so many emails about seminars etc; there's even a framing guru coming over from the US - and I'm sure, if you are a real Sherlock, somewhere on our site you'll find aaaaaalllll this info.

POST THE EVENT HERE FOR GOD'S SAKE - IT'S FREE! Oh ..... wait, you can't even sort that on your own website - baby steps .... baby steps (LOL)

I was just going to turn up for the Sunday bit that anyone can attend ...... that you can't easily find on the site, but I've decided to do the black tie awards dinner and stay over ....... that you also can't easily find on the site or might not know about if you are not a member like wot I am, wink wink, nudge nudge, know wot I mean, Squire?

I'll be staying on the Britvic, be warned MUAHAHAHAAAAH!

Well I got a certificate for riding Thomas, and I only went and got it signed by Sir Toppen Hat ( the fat controller ), I then went and had a Thomas Tattoo done on my forearm.

Where was you? I caught a glimpse of you exiting the dinner and then, as they say in Wales ... there you were .. gone!

It was a good weekend/event - I don't know if anyone attending primarily to sell would agree though, the Sunday, stall-wise, was a snoozefest.

I've never done the awards dinner before, or the two days, and this time I didn't do the whole two days, just the dinner and the next day. Next time (unless it's way oop North) I'll do the full Monty and take on more seminars than I did this time, which was just the one, the 'Business forum"

Whatever I or anyone else thinks of the guild in general, no-one bothering to attend this event could disagree that it's a whole bunch of super people

Someone once told me .... make that "I was trained to" not, when writing a report (not that this is a 'report', - but anyway) to be totally positive ... there has to be a 'but' - no-one's perfect, or to be totally negative ....

On the seminar I attended, a panel member said s/he liked the "KISS" (Keep It Simple, Stupid) principle. So do I, absolutely. But then it was stated that what used to be "The Framers Committee" of the FATG I (simple) is now the Framers Standards & Qualifications Committee.

Is that simple?
