Hi,
We have a couple of Taurus Underpinners where you can change the rubber/silicone clamp head depending on what moulding you are pinning so it is shaped to the moulding and clamps very well.
Does anyone know where I can source some new ones to fit a new moulding we are using now that Taurus are no more?
Thanks

Re: Taurus underpinner clamp mouldings
You could make your own.
Had a google to see what the machine looked like and hit http://www.framersequipment.co.uk/tauru ... ipment.htm
It says "spares available on request" so may be worth giving them call.
Welcome to the UKFF btw.

Re: Taurus underpinner clamp mouldings
Thanks, I did the same earlier and have left them a message so hopefully they will get back to me later.
Not sure if I have the skills to make my own, but I used to know someone who worked in special effects for film industry who could probably make a mould and mix up some kind of silicone to cast in it... may prove to be quite expensive however!
