cmc and graphic tablet
Anyone with a cmc, do you use a graphic tablet to produce designs for cutting? Which combinations of cmc and graphic tablet work/ don't work? What picture file format do you use? Any cmc noticeably better/ worse with graphic tablet?

Totally agree, the CMC manufacturers all show the wonderful things you can do with a CMC but in the real world of retail, its the same simple mounts that people want.

The reason I bought one was for the superior quality of the cut, speed and consistency. The fact it can cut out people's names and fancy designs is of no concquence to me.

70% of my work is shaped window mounts, do all my designing on a desktop PC, as I need total control to the mm where where I put a line or curve, I like a nice big screen ( could be age thing
) so I can see a lot of the design at one time

As a matter of interest Steve what size screen do you use? Am about to order a PC to go with the CMC I ordered yesterday!! The shame is that I already have a 24 and 27 inch iMac

I think the size is 21", I do the shape deigns on a PC at home, not so much on the one used for CMC, as if I designing shapes on the CMC PC (which can take a time), it's not being used to cut mounts
On the CMC the monitor is 19" wide screen, which I find suites V-Studio software, it doesn't need to be big as it's mostly used for cutting
