Help to find a moulding

Post by tincagallery01 »

Hello everyone we are a fairly new addition to the world of framing but we are thoroughly enjoying the challenge and the enjoyment of the "before" and "after" - a frame can make ALL the difference.

Anyhow, we are searching for a moulding but are struggling to find it - can you help? Hope you can. Many thanks
Marian

I'm with Robo on this one!

I think that it is one of the Arqadia versions, because of what appears to be a darker tone on the sight edge. As far as I can remember, the Simons versions don't have the daker tone on the sight edge.

Arqadia versions are, 369 152 000 (36mm wide), or 366 152 000 (62mm wide) according to the width required.

I used to buy the Simons versions of the moulding quite often at one time. I don't know why we stopped using it, but it was a good moulding and sold very well at the time.

Perhaps I should see if I can revive a little interest in this profile with my customers. I liked the Simons AM117 at the time as it was quite a good price.

I can remember thinking that it would be nice if there was deeper version of that profile in bare wood!
