Pressed flower on stem

Hi

Guess a small dap of something sticky only option? This is a pressed flower and stem of the tiny kind!

The traditional route would be to use strips of paper pasted over the stems.

Silicone does not sound promising to me! Most silicone sealers and adhesives release acetic acid as part of the curing process. Plant fibres contain cellulose and acetic acid attacks cellulsoe.

I'd most likely give it a Melinex overlay on to alpharag artcare mount board, possibly encapsulation. Either method would help hold it together for longer but the overlay method would protect it from itself a bit.
