Mirror Glass

Post by impressive19 »

I use a Fletcher 3100 and have never cut mirror glass before. Just tried a couple of pieces to try it out with abject failure! Tried glass straight after and it was fine. Is there a different technique for mirror glass? I know it has the backing film, any help appreciated.

As long as you cut it on the shiny side it's just glass. If you scored it on the back then that's the problem. You should have no problems with anything up to 6mm.
