Long term properties of foamboard

Post by Not your average framer »

While reading a thread on the grumble, something was posted which implied or suggested that foamboard can decompose over a relatively short period of time, such as about 20 years.

Until I had read this thread, I had assumed (without any info either way) that foamboard would last considerably longer than this! Can anyone shed any light upon this please?

Of particular interest to me would be the long term properties of ArtCare foamboard.
