Anybody with experience of different makes of mountboard can you tell me if any are easier to cut.

I am not a big user but would like to establish one brand and try to keep with it. Maybe ease of cutting might be a good place to start.

I use Arqadia and Daler but can't say I notice much difference in cutting. Having said that they both cut on the same blade settings e.g. blade depth etc. Where are you ordering your boards from? It might be worth you knowing that Wessex are happy to supply single sheets so you could try out various makes to see which you prefer :D

Thanks David. I do use Wessex and often choose more on colour than anything else. I will have to make a point of trying different boards.

I use mainly Arqadia boards and some Daler. I inherited a set of Arqadia corner samples so it's those that I show and the customer picks.
I don't think there's any major differences between them, although Daler boards are slightly larger.

Daler and Arqadia boards don't go fluffy when the blade is losing it's edge. I like both Daler and Arqadia boards because they cut so well. I also find Colourmount boards quite useful as they have a good number of useful colours, which you can't from Daler, or Arqadia.
