You will want a silient compressor. A bambi is a good choice, the bigger the better as you will start using it to blow out the frames then get a pneumatic staple gun.

A "noisy" compressor is OK if you can locate it out of earshot.
For many years ours was housed in the "smallest room", we always switched off on entering though. My visiting brother, unaware of this convention, was made aware of our arrangement one day as he sat in quiet contemplation.

Or if you use ear defenders when you use the compressor.

Ours is in our cellar, can't hear a thing in the shop and I like quiet, can't even stand the radio on, otherwise I can't hear the voices and I get lonely.

quite loud but needs no oil, I just switch it off when not in use. works well so far.

Yes we had a 75/150 which was ex-dentist and used it for 4 years and replaced it with a bambi 100 last year.
It was used to run an Alfamacchine Multi Channel, plus chop saw (Inmes) and air tools. It struggled in later years but that was because it was totally *****d. The new one is fine.
