There a couple of Morso's going quite cheaply on ebay atm.

I'm currently bidding on this one

There is also a KEENCUT SYSTEM 4000which has a starting bid at £99 that I'm watching. Is this Keencut system any good? What should I look out for on one? What is the main point of failure?

Cheers

Hi Woody,

I've got one! They're fairly much unbreakable, but do need a little bit or maintenance every so often.

The bearings wear and need adjusting to allow for this. This is easy and there is enough adjustment on the machine to last almost for ever.

The sliding clamp blocks on the measurement stops can wear so that the screw threads strip, but this is not a big deal as the same clamp blocks are used on just about everything Keencut have ever made and should always be available.

The MDF cutting wheels are the same as used on their current machines.

They are very heavy and bulky to move, but they will do all you require, even when old.
