Hotpress Power Cable

Post by mbaister »

Recently bought a second hand Hotpress 220, all arrived in perfect condition until...I stood on the power cable taking it into my workshop.. :head:

Having difficulty working what exactly it is I need to buy, what type of cable/power supply it is and where to buy a replacement, can it be completely removed from the pump itself or do I need to repair just the broken end? if anyone has any pointers I would greatly appreciate them!!

Photos below!

Martin,

I would open the broken plastic plug and try to repair it as once its plugged in the press you wont have to take it out again as you turn the power on and off from the wall if required,

Steve will probably say ring Hotpress/Drytac in Bristol and ask to speak to Clive in the basement. He builds and repairs all of the Hotpresses. Clive is da man!

This is a right angled male IEC connector. It's a standard connector and easy to replace.
