Cassese One Foot Operated Underpinners.

I'm assuming that if you're reading this, you have a Cassese foot operated underpinner.
When I started out, I bought a brand shiny new Cassese One Uni Cart.
I'm now realising it's limitations, in that it doesn't have adjustments for tilt and angle on the fences like a secondhand CS88 would have.
I realised the other day, that if I could swap the sliding fence parts with a CS20, I'd have exactly what I wanted in a foot operated underpinner.
Waiting to hear from Cassese what this would cost.
I know, it's a moment. If only I'd listened to the CS88 lovers.
I am finding that I can do everything I need to with my hands, tilt and angle, but it'd be nice to set it up with bells n whistles.

Good luck with it, Justin. Shame they didn't incorporate that functionality to begin with.

Sound like a top company who'll pull their finger out though.

I don't have vertical adjustment on my underpinner, and have never regrated not having the adjustment, really can't see the need for it if you have cut the moulding correctly

I'm just starting a discussion about Underpinners.
Did you start with a simple no frills no adjustment?
Did you upgrade?
Was it worth it?
Are the adjustment features on a CS88 worth having?
Steve, funny you say that, it's often chops that I have the most difficulty with.

The adjustments are good to have, because they enable you to set up the machine to get the best results, after that as the machine settles in and wears with age you can re-adjust to restore those best result settings.
