Are products like bleach going to cause any issues with Acrylic? I never use Acrylic, but have a job for a hospital and they have asked if regular use of bleach could cause any issues to the glazing.

I think that the pH of bleach means that it is pretty serious stuff. I don't know where you would be able to obtain any reliable information about this. Is glass not an option? Perhaps you could offer them 4mm glass. You would probably need to hit that with a hammer to break that and bleach does not have any affect on glass whatso ever.

Is the frame doing to be sealed to stop the bleach from getting round the edge of the glass and getting on to the contents in the frame?

Regular use of any cleaning products on Acrylic will eventually scratch the surface to the point where
it starts to look cloudy. Cleaning cloths pick up tiny particles of dust/grit, even if the liquid itself don't contain abrasives.

Glass could possibly be an option. The nature of the room they are going in means people inside are going to be very upset so that's the main reason for glass. Is 4mm just as easy to cut?

THEIR CHOICE cleaning with bleach is their decision is the issue with any framer, not just you. There are cleaning agents other than bleach.

I don't have any problem cutting 4mm glass. Scoring 4mm glass is no different to normal 2mm glass, it just takes a little extra force to brake it after scoring the glass.
