Hi Stepen
Turned away to look at my listings and returned to find Joe90 beat me to it.

We use the CS88 and it is so sturdy, although the only problem we have had is with the flexible steel cable. It snapped once.

Hi Folks,

Just to add to the postings about Cassese.

May as well be in Outer Mongolia instead of France, communication to this company is so, so easy, all you do is fill in the pro forma on screen and send. NOW, getting a response is another matter, maybe the English Channel is hard to circumnavigate?

To John GCF (UK) I have had the same problem over the past 6 years, but I keep 2 or 3 cables in stock at all times, just in case. I think in 6 years I have had to replace the cable about 3 times, which all told, isnt bad, is it? Very robust machine, can take quite a hammering day in and day out (just like the wife)

Hi Markw,

Least your is in the workshop refusing to work, mine has gone AWOL, AGAIN, as for the expensive trip to Paris, way out of the question, where would I take the mistress? Shhhhhhh........dont tell her I said that!!!!!!Cleethorps sounds better for her, or her favourite place in the whole wide world, Wigan Market.

As for her cables snapping, its her that has got me cables up, like a puppet, she has got this saying from Brian Connelly (remember him) 'Its a puppet' She pulls the strings, I dance, come on now....I got the balls to admit it, have any other men (if they are honest)

Hi Joe90,

£100 for the info......not worth it, that would be far too much information, as for going AWOL yesterday, she will be AWOL all day today, WEYHEY WHOOPPPPEEEEEEE......god I wish I was the boss!!!!!!

Get on with making your boxes, the way I told you how to do them.

Just found out today that LION sell the spare cables for the CS 88 . Stock No 2138 for £6.95 each.
Looks like I will be getting in a few spares. Although at the moment I am using some SS flexible Wire that is slightly thicker than the Cassesse cable and after 12months now is showing absolutely no sign of wear.
LION also stock the Hammers for the beast.

Hi John,

Funny you should mention Lion. When I bought my CS88 about 6 years ago now, my local supplier was quite willing to supply me the machine but did not stock the spare cables, I had to go to Lion for the spare cables and heads. Lion are a life saver most of the time and a great company to deal with.
