So in he came with an A4 picture and said can you enlarge this?
How big says I, as big as you can says he.
How do you want it framing says I,
You’re the expert says he you choose 😩
Hope he likes it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

If i were the customer, i would be delighted. Choice of frame and mount works and although i would have thought the small picture would detract from larger print, it really works.

Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely done! Weirdly, I know where those boats are. They're the much photographed old fishing boats at Salen on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Took almost the same photo myself a few years ago.

Looks great.

If the photo is A4, the frame must be massive; what size is it?

I assume the photo is sitting in front to return to the customer, rather than actually part of the frame and mount?

Hi Pramsay, you assume correctly the original A4 picture is there to show the scale,
it was scanned in at 800dpi so I could print it out at 24" x 36" approx.
with the mount added ended up just over 36"x 48".
the frame is Rose & Hollis A24 hand finished with a mixed blue/grey chalk paint
limed and finished off with liberon neutral wax.
