Did anyone else notice how terrible the framing of the photograph of George VI, on the Queens desk during last nights VE celebration speech was ??
4 pieces of Veneer thrown together , but nearly missing each other at one corner.
(Like all of us, I need to get out more....) Stay safe all.....

Maybe it's a touch of veneer disease (a quick course of penicillin should do the trick - ahem, so I'm told).

I hadn't noticed but since you mentioned it, I had to have a look on Youtube. There's no mount either - I bet the photo's stuck to the glass!
