Just finishing off a frame, natural ash with thin gold fillet to set off some needlework. Ash needs 10mm wedge. Locate stick of 3mm wedges for slip when I get distracted by another customer. Return to underpinner and join slip with a 10mm wedge.... Also managed to underpin slip to the pressure pad.
Thankfully my day did get better.

It had to happen sooner or later.
I once nailed my thumb to a frame.

I once flattened a finger under a piece of wood on the Morso. Don't know how it got there, but the foot pedal was down before I was aware. Ouch!!!

I was work with a framer who had cut the top of his right thumb on the Morso. I asked him how he done it, he went on to show me with his left thumb, after the demo he had a matching pair

it's true.
