Help
Hi All
I have 2 silk scarfs to frame.
I have read past posts on large Hermes scarfs, but I wondered if anyone had got any other techniques , ideas and recommendations?
Would stainless steel fine pins into 5mm acid free foam board be enough to get tension and to hold the scarf in place?
Struggling with the what price as well.

If the customer wants to seen the whole scar, edges and add. I would mount the silk scark onto a ipece of acrylic glazing, relying upon the static cling holding it in place. I the customer does not want to see the edges, then perhaps using the newberry (tight fit) method, with a mount hiding the enges of the foam board used for the Newberry method.

Another way to do it is to give the scarves to a seamstress or local sewing group ("stitching and bitching" etc) and have them hand sew the scarves onto two linen squares, cut 130mm x 130mm. Then you can wrap that 'round whatever size of foamboard and stick it down however you like at the back.
