... that everyone affected by the stormy weather has a safe and uneventful night. :)

It's starting to get quite rough here, even in the valleys. When I was out back having a smoke, it felt like if I held my arms out I could fly over the river......

Bloody hell, I've just remembered my A-Frame is outside - I'd better get it in before it lands on someone in Sussex

Arrrrrrrrhhhhgggghhhhhhh I didn't mean anyone in particular, I just meant far, far away. Like Kansas is from most people. :D

I hope you guys up there are battening down the hatches and staying safe!
Weather map looks a bit ugly!

Our radio news hasn't mentioned that you are having some bad weather.

I hope it won't be too bad for people east of me. It was very blowy here, with some fairly heavy rain for an hour or two here, but there's only a slight breeze now. That said, I'm inland. Rootin' for the Welsh and West Country contingents! :)

It's very wet and windy, apparently a lot of trees are down in places, but I think it's been o.k. in our immediate area.

I think Kev and John are probably getting it worse than us. I hope you guys are o.k. down there.

Well, so far we seem to have missed it. Lots of rain but no wind to speak of.

Quite a lot of people in Wales seem to be without electricity and there are still a lot of flood alerts in the area.

Mallow is now on flood alert. Fionnuala, hope you and your family are OK.
