Framing my own artwork

Hi there,

I thought I’d show off the bespoke frame I made for one of my own paintings. It’s pretty simple - except for that fact there’s no backing and there’s LED strips built into the frame.

I hope you like
Thanks
Zac

Interesting.

I like the way you've hung it horizontally :P

So are the LEDs behind the window mount?

You're getting off to a flying start and you are already doing some less straight forward stuff, like tcreast. This is a lot like it was when I got started and it kept on going in much the same way. I've been doing plenty of unusual stuff ever since and it's brought me a long way, with a regular stream of unsual stuff along the way. Maybe it's going to be like that for you. If it carries on like this, it may be a bit of a learning curve, but it's also a good thing.

Don't be too worried about this if this is how it turns out. It's a good thing and as always there's plenty of help from the members of this forum.

Best wishes,
Mark.

That looks great! Can you explain what you mean by no backing?

Haha, not sure why it flipped round.

So it’s actually a painting onto glass. So I framed it, held it in pace with some spacers pinned to the frame and then installed LED strips behind. The background will be what every your wall is.

Loving all that I’m learning along that I’m learning
