Taurus 282 Foot Peddle

Hi, Looking at purchasing my first underpinner. Limited budget. I have seen a Taurus 282 advertised but it only has a foot peddle at the back. Only seen photos as it is a good distance to view. Has anyone used this machine before and is it possible to switch peddle to the front? The seller has no manual and isn't sure either. I know its an oldish machine and Taurus don't trade anymore.
