compresor size

Post by skerries frameworks »

Hi all, can anyone help me - I'm getting a new compressor for a Valaini Mat Pro CMC-i mountcutter, salesman selling me a Bambi was giving me a hard time about how much air per minute I needed - can anyone recommend one over the other (a) a Bambi PT24 oil free or (b) Bambi BB24 oil unit? Thanks in advance, Gerard

Hi. I have a Gunnar F1 hybrid mountcutter and bought this compressor to supply the pneumatics. It is the 9 litre version but only recharges briefly about every 5 full sheets of cutting. It cost me about £100 new and is not that noisy at all. I got it fro Amazon and am very happy with it.
Cheers

There is a quiet nine litre compressor also available from Machine mart, who have branches all over the country, I nearly bought one, but I opted for a 24 litre more noisy compressor instead. I was less concerned amount the noise level and it was a good price as well. Some items like this are obtainable elsewhere as well and not always at exactly the same prices, some it may be worth shoping around. Most manufacturing countries have been hit hard during the present crisis, so suppliers are often having difficulties maintaining their supplies of stock, so a lot of items may be hard to find.

Prices have noticably increased during recent times. Many such items come from the same manufacturer, but are labled with different suppliers brand names in the UK. I use mine from brad nailers, staple guns and a headless pinner. It's only a cheap compressor, but it works well.
