How do you like to join your spacers inside the frame.

I cut my spacers to size on the Morso and join them with my underpinner, but I have noticed that some framers stick the individual lengths of spacer to the inside of the frame rebate, with all four spacer lengths overlapping at the corners using a pinwheel style of assembly. Mine have enough clearnce to easily remove the spacer frame at a later date if required.

Which is the perferred method and Why?

I pin mine then turn upside down and pin again. If over day 20” I use a spot of glue in the centre.

I cut my spacers on the morso.
Sometimes I don't join them or fix them at all, they are just loose inside the frame.
If I think they need fixing I use a little bit of double sided tape and a little bit of glue.
I rarely pin the spacers are they are only 5mm thick so there isn't much room to play with.
