Dry Wipe Whiteboard.

I need to make a custom sized dry wipe whiteboard for a Christmas present. It does not need to be magnetic, but if that option is not too expensive, it would be a bonus.

Does anyone have experience of this in terms of what sort of sheet material is best for the board, and where to source it from? - obviously I can manage the frame bit!

This will need to be 1550mm x 750mm

Thanks All

Not sure about starting from scratch, but how about just buying a whiteboard and adding your own frame. They normally come with a thin wooden or plastic frame that could be removed, or even just add the frame over the top if the rebate is wide enough.
It will probably be cheaper to get one that is around that size, but if the sizes have to be exact I imagine you will need to get one made to measure.

I've made two for my own use from white contiboard. Mine are not framed the edges are just neatly taped with red duct tape. I can't rememder what the contiboard cost, but it was a standard length just cut in have for me at my local hardware shop. They look great!
