So I did this for an Artist friend of mine who did this portrait of Shane McGowan which was for an exhibition. He said do a simple black frame but I thought it needed something more and he left it to me to do what I wanted.

It's great! What did the artist think? Did you make a collage and then print it on paper or is it a wrap?? Intrigued..

He love the idea and also the way it was done. So I googled alcohol labels and printed them of on a standard A4 printer with standard photocopy paper. I then cut them out and glued them using modge podge glue which is a children's art glue available in most art and hobbies shops. Once it was dry I coated the outside with more modge podge which acts as a sealer and gives a clear like varnish finish. I have also used this technique on photos mounted on mdf and it really does protect the photo.
