Hi

I've been send this photo of an existing job & they want to replicate it with a new painting. I'm struggling to work out what's actually going on though. I take it the backing is just a bit of MDF painted but I'm unfamiliar with the inner & outer options

Does anyone have an better suggestion?

My first thought is that the art is suspended above the flat surface of the backing board. A float mount.

I've used Rose n Hollis A115 for the outer (on its side, rebate lip facing down) and A254 for the inner?

I've had a look on the Rose&Hollis site and your recommendation looks pretty darn close is not exact!! Thanks for that
