New Framer - South Yorkshire Woodworking.

Post by sy_woodworking »

I kind of fell in to framing when my son wanted to have some of his signed football shirts framed, and I saw how much it was going to cost me  , so I went on a course to augment my woodworking skills with some framing skills too and now I've started to sell my services to pay for the extra tools I've bought for the workshop

As the name would suggest I'm based in South Yorkshire, Sheffield to be exact and looking to specialise in shirt framing.

I've recently got a 2nd hand Dexter cutter from ebay to up my mat/mount game and I'm on the lookout for a recommended supplier of replacement blades if anyone knows of any in the UK.

I had to look up what a Dexter was. Maybe this one?

I've found a couple of places that sell them, along with some that say they're for a Fletcher F-1100, I've ordered a pack and some other stuff too to make the £9 delivery worth it.

Thanks for the link JustInTime.

I've found that the "Swann Morton ACM No.24 Spare Blades" are the same dimensions as the Dexter No. 3 blades, but with a different hole, but as the cutter doesn't use that hole it doesn't matter. Their SM 03 blades look like they might do the trick too.
