Does anyone know if you can get different shape felts for underpinners?

I’m thinking about when joining large curved profiles, would be great to have a selection of different shaped thick felt type of pads.

When I had my old Euro pinner it had a woeful top pad. I dented many a corner. Then I made a wooden triangle
and faced it with 3mm cork and wrapped it in clingfilm. OK, so you have to manually place it on the corner but
it saved a lot of denting. I made one or two other little 'helpers' so as to get the pressure exactly in the right spot.
* The clingfilm can be easily changed when it got gunged up with hardened glue.
** Polyurethane is better than felt for this purpose.

Some profiles will sit on top of each other in reverse, if bare wood and no details to damage. You can place some offcuts over the top before joining. I'm not an expert at this but I've heard it's done.

That pad looks a lot better than the one on my Euro which was hard plastic with a very thin felt covering.
