Hi

Would anyone have any ideas advice for a framing workbench. Dimensions, height , material , draws etc. Garage hoby workshop, thinking of getting local carpenter to build one but need design and dimensions.
All advice pictures greatly appreciated.

The height really depends on your height. I'm 5"10" and my bench is 100cms high which is a comfortable working height to stand at. An 8'x4' sheet of 18/24mm ply is a handy size to work to if you have the space.

Put it on wheels.

I've got a fixed bench and a bench on wheels that I can have next to it or move into the middle of the room if I need to get around it. And I have my ultimat mountcutter on another trolley - same height. and my underpinner - same height, and my morso on a dolley that I can move around too.
