Retirement and thanks

Good afternoon all -
After a number of very happy years framing, I’ve decided that now is the time to bow out and retire. My state pension is just around the corner, and it’s time to focus on other things. This coincides happily with my daughter’s first baby arriving in the summer and her purchase of an old house which is apparently much in need of my DIY skills!
I just wanted to thank those of you of have been so helpful over the last few years. Sometimes it’s help that’s been so generously provided after a plea for help, and sometimes by following advice given to others. Either way, I’ve found the forum to be a great source of help and advice. Long may it continue.
It’s been a little strange this year not to be swamped by Christmas orders and the usual unreasonable demands from customers, but I must say for the first time I’m enjoying a more relaxed lead up to the festive season.
I’ve already sold some of my tools and equipment, and will be selling he rest via the Forum in the New Year.
In the meantime, I’d like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous time framing in 2025.
Very best wishes
Jonathan
