Compressor

Hi, I'm a low volume framer, but thinking about getting a compressor for my (very) small workshop.

I've read a lot of the threads on here about them, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between these three I'm considering:

https://www.wessexpictures.com/24ltr_Oi ... essor.html
https://lionpic.co.uk/p/42534/Hyundai-2 ... Compressor
https://djsimons.co.uk/product/single-h ... r-24litre/

There's a big difference in price, but I don't really know what the pros/cons of each are.

I'll mainly be using it for blowing dust out of frames and eventually powering a pneumatic underpinner (current one is foot operated but eyeing up some alternatives).

Thanks in advance!

If it's going to be in your work space then db level is important. The green Bambi silent really are very quiet when they cycle. If you have a room you can hide it in then this is not so important and prices for loud ones are much cheaper. Underpinners, guns and cmc's use very little air to work so a small 24l one is fine. Air blowers require much more air and so to prevent it cycling very often you'll need a larger tank than that. Not such an issue if you work alone and only use one tool at a time. I believe a "twin pot" (two motors) cycles quicker. I have a vgc spare 50l Bambi silent twin it's in West Wales, pm me if interested.

Thanks Justin, that's vey helpful. I'll have another good look at the studio and see if I can work out if I can find somewhere to squeeze a 50l one in, and give you a shout if I can make it work.

Apologies, my available Bambi is the BB24.
