San Francisco art gallery specializing in photography is seeking an experienced framer and preparator. Should have at least 3 years framing experience, skilled in manually cutting windows in 8-ply mat boards, fitting large works with glass, and handling and packing photographic works of art. Must be detail oriented and organized, have strong basic math skills. Background in photography, knowledgeable regarding archival standards and materials pertaining to photographs and installation experience helpful. We have a clean work area, no cutting moldings, we outsource for custom made frames. Job involves maintaining inventory of materials.
