Two more of these frames coming out from the chaos of my workshop.

They would have made a great photo if the gallery had sent me the two early Flemish paintings to go in them but they didn't feel confident enough to pop them in the post to West Wales.
So instead a little Insta. photo to show them off.

What I have found out is that these frames take much longer than even a fully water-gilded frame whch makes pricing them a little more uncertain.
But I am quite delighted with them.

And why am I showing you this?
Well, Google picks up on this sort of thing and the article pops up when a customer makes a search for someone who makes Dutch Black Frames.

Here's one I made earlier. Not exactly authentic Flemish but neither is the painting.

Hi Tim.

I used Cherry as the facing timber and then tulip wood for the main body.
