I mainly frame football shirts and up until now I’ve been using pins and clothing tags to attach them to the foam board… a PITA most of the time so to speed things up I’ve 3D printed some clips I can use instead, much quicker and I’m less likely to poke myself with something sharp!

The clips are made of PLA, do we think they’ll have any negative effect on the shirt through prolonged contact?

I looked into this some time ago, PLT does "off gas" a little and can become brittle over time especially with UV exposure, the off gassing is low though.

PETG is a better choice it is more inert and less affected by UV light.
