Painted slips?

Post by theframer »

I have a customer who wants to paint the slips i supply them before i fit the pictures up they will be laying flat on top of the glass,
If they use acrylic paint will this create any unusual marks on the glass?
Thanks
Dave

Yes that can happen. I suggest fitting some tape like the alu frame sealing tape from Lineco around the outside of the slip which will be hidden under the rebate. It will just hold the slip a fraction off the glass.
