Framing two polo hammers crossed

Post by Parm »

Hi all I’ve been asked to frame two polo mallets / hammers in a ‘crossed’ position. Any suggestions on how to keep them in place ? Thanks. Btw they measure 30inches long

You could use Mylar, a polypropelene film. Used in strips around the mallets and fed through slits in the backing. It would be almost invisible and very strong. James Miller in his books "Mounting Objects with Clear Film" or "The Complete Guide To Shadowboxes and Framing Objects" calls them strap mounts.
