Does anyone remember Orteguil underpinners?

I am being offered a Orteguil GP-85 mount cutter. It had seized slightly after a year or two in storage but have managed to free most of it. It has no stops for moving the carriage forward and back but I think I can fix this.

It had a dozen or so V nails with it that I used up testing it, unfortunately nails from my alpha don't fit, does anyone know if universal wedges will fit?

It has 10mm nails at the moment, I normally use 15mm. does anyone know if other size nails can be used.

Also does anyone have a manual they could send or post dome photos of?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would try asking some of the well established suppliers like Peter at Framers Equipment Northampton or Lion's or Mark at underpinnerspares.co.uk.

I take it you've seen this page on The Grumble?
https://www.thegrumble.com/resources/fr ... library.3/

The orteguil manual isn't quite the same model but might be helpful.

Yes, thanks. I've seen the page. I guessed the GP81(in the manual archive) and GP85 (mine) are fairly similar but there are obviously quite a few major changes.

There is no key for the parts diagram which doesn't help. I had noticed that the manual does imply different size v-nails but i assume alternative sizes are as rare as hens teeth.
