wire for mounting

Post by silvercleave »

Hi all

Have pondered over this for some time, "How to secure the axle of a bus without it showing"? tried cord and strong thread, both of which are too fiddly, suddenly a light came on, why not use stainless steel wire but very thin, answer = if you use SS wire to hang pictures, take a piece of wire and strip it to reveal several single strands, surprising how strong it is.

I may be teaching grandad to suck eggs, if I am verry sorry to waste your time.

I'd be very careful about the materials used for this sort of thing.

I mean, not only could it fail its MOT - people could be killed!
