An expensive forum

Somebody on the forum mentioned the Canon SX100 IS as being a good camera for use with visualisation software. So I bought one. Trouble is, it was so good I bought a second one to save taking the first one off the ceiling for the holiday.
Still at £150 for a 10 megapixel camera it did seem a bargain.
Didn't realise how good it was till I tried some photography on holiday. Here's a photo looking north from the Sussex Downs.
Nothing particularly special but it's quite sharp for a hand-held snap on a not very bright day. Anyway, I thought I'd try out the zoom. So here's a shot of the centre of the previous pic - also hand held.
Both photos are straight from the camera (set to auto) - just resized to post on the forum.
So I'm now £300 worse off but I do have a couple of jolly good cameras.
