Floating a piece of cardboard

I would like to float mount a piece of cardboard that is one side of a cardboard box dating back to 1920s. It apparently sat in a garage because it is not flat, that is, its warped from moisture and time. I want to achcivally frame this piece. Believe it or not it is rare.
