Materials & tips for cold mounting & laminating

Post by Not your average framer »

Having just bought a secondhand 36" manual Hot Press cold mounting roller machine, I'm looking for advice regarding cold mounting (self adhesive) boards, laminating films, PMA type adhesive materials, etc. This is a completely new activity for me and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info, Aine, but I don't think I currently have anything which will play DVD's.

I was wondering if there is any advatage in stocking the self adhesive laminating films with a view to offering such a service to potential customers, or to just to use the machine for adhesive mounting only. Any comments would be welcome.
