Well done Ireland!
I'd rather you won with tries, conversions and a drop goal than Wales with penalty kicks and a drop goal.

Re: Grand Slam
I'd like to say a genuine "Thank You" to the Welsh Team for making it such a memorable match to win the slam off the back of. Would have been something of a hollow victory if the play had been "namby pamby".
I'd also like to say thanks to the Welsh for not winning in spite of all the ways we tried to give the match away! That said, with 61 years worth of pressure bearing down on the Irish team, I think that may in some way have contributed to the occasional daftness on the day, given the sense of "occasion". Points out of 10 to Wales for fielding a side with tremendous discipline and control. Job well done!

Re: Grand Slam
Might as well go for a posting Triple Crown here...
I'd be a liar to say I was not delighted that we won, but I do genuinely feel for Henson missing the penalties. He's a cracking player!

Re: Grand Slam
Yes BIG congrats to Ireland - well deserved and overdue. Now O'Gara and O'Driscoll have something to prove to their grandchildren just how bloody good they were!

Sorry, Mog, but i disagree. He was a promising youngster, but has so far proved to be an ill-disciplined, unprofessional under-achiever. Wouldn't make my Lions team, anywayMoglet wrote:I'd be a liar to say I was not delighted that we won, but I do genuinely feel for Henson missing the penalties. He's a cracking player!
