Just by chance I found how to make a mountslip in matching colour to Arqadia's silver swept frame (Cat no. 829 348 ***, p292).
The slip I used is Arqadia 191 100 000 but I guess any plain wood slip would do. Firstly paint or stain black and then apply Fine Gold Liquid Metal (Lion Cat No. 6795A) over the top (2 coats) and the finished colour is near enough identical. But, it only works when painted over black otherwise the colour comes out totally different.
