Power Twist Wedges

I was wondering if anybody use Power Twist 'PTC' wedges in their Cassese underpinner, and if they really did create a tighter joint than the standard wedges?

My concerns are: -
  • Jamming
    Additional wear on the machine
Are they still effective when the wedges are stacked

For a while I used re-loadable metal shutes but reverted to the standard Cassise after encountering too many jams. That experience has made me very wary of experimenting with these wedges (Lion's catalogue No.41 P21), but I would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried them.

We have the Cassese 89 and tried the Power Twist.

They were jamming far too much, in there own cases, to transferred to the Cassese cases. Derrr still jamming and no noticeable difference in wether the joint was tighter or not.

As for the wear on the machine. Not sure as we didnt use them over a long period.

So its back to the Cassese wedges (hard wood) for us.
