Framed a large watercolour, about 2' x 3'. It sat wrapped up for about a week waiting for pick-up. Customer comes in today and is thrilled. Looks great. While admiring, noticed a bug crawling along the surface. Got a piece of paper to remove it but can't catch it. Then realize it is on the inside!!!
How on earth did it get in there? The back is sealed in gummed tape, no space between glass and frame. Had to open it up and de-bug.

that ties in really well with one we had in a while back. Someone had stuck a print in and the back onto the mount in the process with FLY PAPER.

If it was one of those pesky corn flies, you would be amazed where they can get to. The mystery is, why they want to get in in the first place. And (not a lot of people know this. 
) they don't go in from the back, they go in though the front. 
Sealing the glass/mount/back into a sanwich is the only way I've found to keep them from getting under the glass. Even then they will find the tiniest gap.

Big deal!
I get midges, corn flies, “no see’ums” all the time. I tend to ignore them. They’re gonna die anyway in there, so once they do, just tap the frame ‘til they scoot under the mount.
I did have to unfit the frame for this bugger, though.
