I'll put my hands up to being more of a hobby framer (Night School/Self taught - I have a full time job) but buy watercolours and antique prints from auctions to frame and sell when my partner has a stall at Antique fairs. I bought a job lot of watercolours, and hidden at the back was a watercolour by Patrick Gordon Glennie, unframed but unmarked. It is a small one, 11"x9" called 'A scene on the Suffolk Coast' I want to do a good job on this,as his paintings fetch a good price at auctions, and would greatly appreciate some advice on mountboard colours, and type of frame. Thank you.

You'll be using the best mounting METHODS and UV glass though - right

lol, I am learning every day, and having come back from hols, I took the painting to my local framing suppliers, Deben Framing in Martlesham Heath (Couldn't get a good enough pik to download) and they assisted with mount and frame....and UV glass. Its now done and looks nice, even if I say so myself! Thanks all!
