HI all
I have a watercolour to frame that has been crumpled for a 3d effect. Great eh? Plan is to use spacers so glass doesnt flatten it but mount wont really work with this. How could i attach to mountboard or even "stick" without spoiling the effect? :Slap:
all the best

Float mount it with pass-through hinges ('S' hinges) preferably Japanese hingeing tissue and freshly nuked wheatstarch paste, failing that - Hayaku gummed tape.

With a flat piece of paper to float mount it's easy to decide where to make the slits for the hinges to pass through the board - but with this it would be trickier as you'd only want to position the hinges in places where the paper touches the board, but if it's not too large then two on each side should be sufficient, and as they are near the edge of the paper you could see those points and mark them with a pencil on the board.
