Gorilla

Customer comes in and produces a pencil drawing he'd done - lays it out facing him; upside down to me - as it should be.
I offer up samples - mounts and frames and it's the same old "does it have to be that wide - does the frame have to be that heavy' - he wants about an inch wide mount and the tiniest frame I have - and the picture is about 24x20".
I said - "Well - it's a gorilla" (I was sure it was a gorilla or an ape - defnite 'M' hairline - deeply wrinkled brow - deeply wrinkled everything! Squat nose, large flared nostrils) "It warrants something quite meaty and some space"
It wasn't a gorilla - it was a very old woman!
