Need to dislocate my knee

Post by Roboframer »

So I can kick my own arse!

Nielsen van came today - so I got on with a large map I'd ordered an aluminium frame for - chop.

Didn't bother checking it - never a problem. Cut the mount, undermount, backing, glass; mounted the thing then unwrapped the chopped moulding.

I'd ordered the image size instead of the glass size! :Slap:

You've allowed one a year John. :P If you do it again I will come round and kick it for you.

I always measure up in inches, starting from 1" on the tape measure (as the metal bit on the end is not that accurate), and then just take an inch of the measurement.

Ordered two gilded frames from Spagl in November (not cheap), and was shocked to find I had not taken the inch of one of my mesurements! :head:

This is known as our 'schoolboy error' in the workshop, and it happens far to often!
